Any reference to ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ refers, at all times, to EbT Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to our website users and customers.
EbT is a professional service all about creating beautiful and bespoke interiors, branding and websites for you and your business. We use our passion and experience in art, interiors and graphic design to create one of a kind, custom concepts to suit your brand.
We create ready-made pieces and products and can also work with you to bring your personal vision to life.
We reserve the right to alter our service, at any time, or refuse service to any person that we deem as misusing our service or products, or using them for an illegal or otherwise prohibited purpose.
EbT interior services are in the form of advice-based consulting only and the client must be aware that any selection made or implemented is the responsibility of the client. Our interiors services consist of initial and ongoing consultations for internal and external colours and finishes, interior concept planning, space planning, design development, sourcing of furniture; including liaison (please note extra fees apply for any additional contact EbT executes with suppliers and outlets on your behalf).
Any items that are sourced cannot be returned, however exchanges or a credit note with the supplier can be made if an item is faulty.
EbT is not responsible for the quality or fitness for any purpose of the sourced items, any defects of flaws in the sourced items, or items supplied by the seller that do not fit the description, quality or type selected by EbT.
EbT offers template website solutions. These websites are hosted on either the Squarespace platform, or Shopify. EbT cannot be held responsible for any disruptions to service hosting. There is always the possibility of unforeseen circumstances that can result in your website being down or services being disrupted in other ways. EbT will do our best to assist you if such disruptions should occur, in order to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
If you require a Wordpress website please be aware that prices will vary due to the complexity and whether a developer will need to be brought on board. Custom quotes will be provided based on your needs and budget.
If you choose to have your website hosted by an independent third party, EbT will take no further part in the running, updating or troubleshooting of your website.
EbT require deposits to be made at the commencement of any graphic design, branding, web design, or interior design service.
We require a deposit of 30% of the total value of the package for all visual design projects, and 50% deposit for all interior design.
These deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. If, at any point, you wish to cancel your order, you will forgo the entire amount of the deposit paid. Please see below for further information on cancellations.
EbT also creates custom and individual wedding and event stationary. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid at the commencement of stationary projects, with the full balance to be paid prior to printing.
Quotes for these types of projects may vary throughout the year, which is a result of printing prices fluctuating. For this reason, quotes provided by EbT will expire 7 days after they are issued. If you are unable to confirm your work and pay a deposit within this time, you will need to be issued a further current quote to be approved before commencing work.
For any design work that requires professional printing we ask all clients to approve the work one-month prior to proceeding with printing. This is to allow time for occasional errors on the printing end, which need to be resolved without delaying the project.
EbT will take no responsibility for errors in printing after proofs have been approved by the client. If you have approved your work, without picking up on faults or errors, and it has been printed in identical form, you will be responsible for the fees and charges affiliated with re-printing, re-delivery and the time involved.
Final payment of the balance of your quote will fall due at the completion of the project and must be paid in full before your work will be released to you. Invoices will be issued at the time of completion. Please ensure that you are aware of the due date of your payment. Late payments will incur a fee of 10% of the total of the invoice. Clients will be liable to pay this amount on top of their original invoice. EbT reserves the right to utilise any avenue at our disposal to recover unpaid monies, including legal or otherwise.
Cancellation of any of our services will result in a loss of the full amount of your deposit paid. If you wish to cancel your project, please contact us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge further fees, depending on the level of completion of the product. Late cancellation may result in you being liable to pay the full balance owed for the project.
EbT reserves the right to post updates or progress images of any project that we are working on to our social media accounts or website. We will never disclose the full project or any major identifying features. Our sharing will only ever be in a ‘sneak peek’ capacity for the purposes of sharing and promoting our brand and work.
If, for whatever reason, you would prefer your project to remain confidential from the beginning and throughout, please discuss this with us prior to commencement.
International clients will be invoiced and can make payment through PayPal. All international clients will be charged an additional currency conversion fee, which will be added to their invoice.
after hours and weekend work
All clients will be given a projected production time for their project. This is based on work done during business hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. If you require work done urgently or request work done out of hours or on weekends, you will be charged above your initial quote at a rate of $180 per hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour. We accept the right to refuse after-hours and weekend work at our discretion.
Our preferred method of communication is e-mail. We do not provide e-mail contact or support after hours or on the weekend. Furthermore we do not take business phone calls after business hours or over weekends. We appreciate your patience when it comes to responding to queries.
We request that clients please keep up communication with us, whenever necessary, at the commencement of and during the project. If projects are delayed due to lack of communication from clients, we will not accept liability for this. We reserve the right to delay your project wherever necessary if we are awaiting approval on certain things. Furthermore, you may lose your place in the schedule if we are unable to confirm your work with you.
By engaging with our service you consent to the use of your personal information in any way directly related, or incidental to, the effective carrying out of our activities and functions.
We will only ever request, collect, store and deal with your information in a manner consistent with Australian Privacy Legislation.

social media etiquette
We love sharing our inspiration and designs with customers on our social media. We encourage all users to join us on these platforms. We do, however, have certain standards of behaviour that we expect users to adhere to. No foul language or abuse will be tolerated. We reserve the right to block users or delete comments that do not meet these standards.
EbT may occasionally run promotions through our website or social media. These may include, but are not limited to: sale prices, discount codes or giveaways.
Each individual promotion may have certain criteria that must be fulfilled in order to validly redeem or enter the promotion. At the time of announcing the promotion, we will inform users of any relevant details.
We reserve the right to suspend, cancel, lengthen or otherwise modify any promotion, at any time, without consequence.
Any prizes won in giveaways will not be transferable or redeemable for cash.
At EbT we are passionate about what we do. A lot of love, care and time goes into all of our designs and products and we pride ourselves on our originality.
If you have purchased a custom logo or brand design package from EbT copyright ownership will transfer to you, so that you are able to use this content for ongoing commercial and marketing purposes. We will not re-license this work or similar work to future customers.
EbT reserves the right to continue to use this material for the purposes of marketing our own brand by displaying it in electronic and printed format as an example of our work for other potential customers.
links to third party websites
Any links or directives to third party websites or services are not a representation of our brand, service or opinions. We may provide these links for your enjoyment or information and engaging with these services is at user’s discretion.
EbT is not responsible for policing the practices or policies of any third party service nor will we be responsible for any loss, damage or otherwise that may occur through the use or misuse of third party services.
We love hearing our customer’s feedback about our services and products. It is a thrill to hear that you love our work as much as we do! If you are generous enough to provide us with feedback, we may choose to share this with other users. Feedback may be edited for length or clarity before being published. You will not be fully identified in the publication of any of your feedback unless consent is given prior.

liability + indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Law, EbT cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that users may suffer as a direct or indirect result of accessing our website or using our service. This includes, but is not limited to: special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of savings, loss of opportunity or loss of profit.
Any content or information provided through the EbT website, or throughout correspondence with us, is strictly for general purposes only. We in no way guarantee the accuracy, currency, reliability or completeness of the information.
Customers rely on the information provided throughout this website at their own risk and are thus responsible for any consequences that flow from doing so.

EbT intend this document to comprise the entirety of the agreement between us and our users and customers. Unless expressly stated, no other term, condition, assurance, representation, warranty or inference is intended to apply, with the exception of those that are applicable through some piece of relevant Australian State or Commonwealth legislation.
If we intend any document or clause to supplement or supplant these Terms and Conditions, we will let all users know by publishing that information on the EbT website.
Severing or altering one part of these Terms will not render the rest of the document void. All remaining sections will continue to apply, in the event that one section is removed.

EbT reserve the right to make amendments to our service and our Terms and Conditions, without notice or consequence. Any changes will be published here and will take immediate effect from their time of publication.
